Comment 1: Does messenger of God , the angel eat and drink like us?

According to text in Bible, Genesis, verse 8 they ate the meal prepared by Prophet Abraham, whereas in Quran they didn’t take the meal as stated in Surah Hud, verse 70 and Prophet Abraham felt mistrust and conceived fear. Do you believe angels need to drink and eat like us?

Moreover, the way The Holy Quran tells the story only requires 2 verses, whereas the Bible requires 8 verses. The words in the Holy Quran are more consice which reflect the intellect of the Author(Certainly the word of God). Go to comment 2.

The Holy Quran, Surah Hud,
Chapter 11, verse 69-70

1The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.

2Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.

3He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by.

4Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.

5Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant." "Very well," they answered, "do as you say."

6So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. "Quick," he said, "get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread."

7Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.

8He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.

69. And verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibrahîm (Abraham) with glad tidings.They said: Salâm (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salâm (greetings or peace!) and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.

70. But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lout (Lot)."

Comment 2 : Compare this verses from the Bible and Quran. Which one do you sincerely think is the word of God?

In the Bible Sarah lied to the angel as stated below:

"Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh." But he said, "Yes, you did laugh."

Whereas in the Holy Quran she was astonished with the news. I hope you're not lied by your Bible to believe that Christianity is the truth! Seek the truth. You're well wisher.

Chapter 11, verse 71-73

9"Where is your wife Sarah?" they asked him. "There, in the tent," he said.

10Then the LORDc said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.

11Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.

12So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?"

13Then the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’

14Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son."

15Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh." But he said, "Yes, you did laugh."

71. And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed. But We gave her glad tidings of Ishâque (Isaac), and after him, of Ya'qûb (Jacob).

72. She said (in astonishment): "Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!"

73. They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allâh? The Mercy of Allâh and His Blessings be on you, O the family [of Ibrahîm (Abraham)]. Surely, He (Allâh) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious.
